Program Scope and Sequence
A Penn State certification is awarded upon completion of all four modules and after passing the comprehensive Black Belt certification exam. A practice exam will be given at the end of each module.
Throughout the course, you’ll conduct an ongoing Lean Six Sigma project which should be sponsored through your place of work, unless otherwise authorized by our instructors. Projects must be scoped for a minimum of six months and directly impact your organization.

Some key focuses of the program are creating financial returns that are quantifiable and measurable, building a more robust management team intent on rectifying waste, and replacing assumptions with statistical methods and data.
