Undergraduate research sparks critical thinking and creativity.
Undergraduate research gives students the skills to think for themselves, critically evaluate information, and use their creativity to explore. At Penn State Scranton we are committed to providing research opportunities for students to work alongside faculty who are engaged in research, scholarship and creative activities. Many professors are active scholars and conduct, or present, research locally, nationally, or internationally.
The 2024 Undergraduate Research Fair and Exhibition is April 4, 2024 |
Through the undergraduate research experiences, students share in the excitement of discovery, explore various career choices and develop important skills. They get to know their faculty members and connect with a broader disciplinary community. Many students publish, perform, exhibit, or present their work, sharing it with audiences beyond Penn State.
