As we approach the conclusion of the spring semester, here are the essential events and dates you need to mark your calendars:
Senior Send-off - April 17
Seniors - join us on April 17 at 6 p.m. at Happy Valley Sports Bar located at 516 Storrs St. in Dickson City, for an evening of joy and recognition as we celebrate our remarkable seniors. The Penn State Scranton Alumni Society will also be in attendance to bid farewell to the Class of 2024. Don’t forget to RSVP if you plan to attend!
Spring Concert - April 20
On April 20, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., head to The Theater at North located at 1539 North Main Ave. in Scranton for our Annual Spring Concert where you'll to enjoy a variety of music performers including Penn State Scranton’s Chorale, The Roc[k]tet, The Campus Jazz Band and special guests, The Blue Ridge Middle School District Chorus. Admission is free!
Student Recognition Dinner - April 23
Student Affairs will host a special event to recognize outstanding students and their remarkable achievements on April 23, 2024, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in The View Cafe on campus.
Last Day of Classes - April 26
Last day of classes before final exams.
Commencement Rehearsal - April 26
On April 26, 2024, from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. in Dawson 12, we’ll have a brief rehearsal on campus. Honors and Military cords will be distributed, and Student Marshals recognized. Important information about parking and arrival details will be discussed.
Final Exams
Finals are April 29 to May 3, 2024. Good luck!
Commencement - May 4
The official graduation ceremony for Penn State Scranton will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the Scranton Cultural Center located at 420 N. Washington Ave, Scranton. Doors open at 11 a.m. Graduates from Summer and Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 will be recognized. See more commencement details.
