Biography
I earned my BA in History with a Theatre Minor from Shippensburg University, a Public History MA from Shippensburg University, and an MA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a concentration in Late Medieval History, a Secondary field of Modern Europe and a Tertiary field of Theatrical History. I began teaching in Higher Ed in 2008 at Lehigh Carbon Community College before being hired at Penn State Scranton in January 2014.
Speakers' Bureau Topics: Specialize in Medieval European History, 14th and 15th century focused on legacy and identity, with a secondary field of Modern Europe and a tertiary field of Theatrical History. I also teach American History as well as World Regional Geography and Human Geography

Research Interests
My main area of research is in social and cultural history of late 14th and 15th century England. I have written on the legacy and identity of King Richard III, the impact of Owain Glyndwr's revolt and the use of comedic elements by the Wakefield Master in the Wakefield Cycle plays, especially the Second Shepherds Play. Currently my research is looking at the evolution of England's legal definition of Treason during the reign of King Richard II.
