DUNMORE, Pa. — Penn State Worthington Scranton is one of 10 local universities participating in an upcoming open house for the U.S. Air Force ROTC (AFROTC) from 4 to 6 p.m. on April 20, at Wilkes University, in UCOM 126/127 at 169 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.
The event will provide students with the opportunity to observe an AFROTC class; meet with AFROTC staff members and Air Force officers for a question-and-answer session; meet current cadets; tour the facilities; and learn more about AFROTC opportunities and scholarship benefits, including post-graduate career options.
Students attending any of the following colleges are eligible to participate in the AFROTC program:
- Bloomsburg University
- East Stroudsburg University
- Kings College
- Luzerne County Community College
- Marywood University
- Misericordia University
- Penn State Hazleton
- Penn State Wilkes-Barre
- Penn State Worthington Scranton
- University of Scranton
The event is open to all college students in any degree program. Space is limited to the first 50 students.
