Career paths:

The PSCM program qualifies graduates for careers in supply chain operations and project management. Typical employers include manufacturers, warehousing and  distribution companies, information integrators, retailers, transporter and third-party logistics firms, and related consulting firms across both industry and government.

Northeastern Pennsylvania has many such employers, all looking for qualified PSCM professionals. Thus, our region’s industry also provides our PSCM students with opportunities for field experience and networking.

I enjoy studying PSCM because it offers a global perspective and the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and cultures, which I find impactful and rewarding. The personalized attention from professors due to smaller class sizes at Penn State Scranton has deepened my understanding of the subject matter and provided ample opportunities for mentorship and guidance, contributing to my personal growth. After graduating, I plan to secure a job in the supply chain industry, preferably at the company where I’ve been interning for the past year. Eventually, I aim to pursue a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in supply chain management to further advance my career opportunities and expertise in the field.
