Penn State Scranton offers many research opportunities for undergraduate students to participate in scholarly and creative endeavors. Working with faculty mentors, undergraduates engage in active research in the laboratory, library, studio, and field.
Determine your research interests:
Think about what you want to do, and what you would like to learn about. Don't limit yourself to just research within your major. Keep a broad perspective when searching for opportunities.
- Are you interested in the sciences, engineering, arts, or business?
- Do you want to work in a laboratory, library, studio, or out in the field?
- Do your interests include computer technology, numerically intensive studies, or qualitative analysis?
- Are there faculty members whose research interests you?
