Campus IST students got valuable real-world work experience this summer working with the campus' Information Technology staff, helping to upgrade and install computers, wiring and other technology, as part of the Dawson Building's first-floor renovation project.
Penn State Scranton held its 51st commencement on Saturday, May 4, welcoming 161 new Penn State alumni into the fold. This year marked the first graduating class under the campus’ new name – Penn State Scranton.
On Sunday, as THON 2019 came to a close, Penn State Scranton's dancers and supporters who were at the Bryce Jordan Center, learned that not only had the campus broken last year’s record for the amount of money raised, but that Penn State Scranton was one of the Top Ten Commonwealth Campus THON fundraisers.
For the past 50 years, thousands of students have attended Penn State Scranton to further their education and get their college degrees. In some cases, students who came to Penn State Scranton also met their soulmates.
Penn State Scranton is now a smoke- and tobacco-free campus, with smoking and tobacco products in campus buildings, grounds, campus leased properties, facilities and vehicles no longer allowed.
